You don't have to hold onto your boyfriend's / husband's arm while jogging! He is not going to run away! You both looked absolutely ridiculous ...

I know this is just a personal opinion, but where you harm in their display of public affection?
Why did you allow it to trouble your spirit so?
This is what I no longer understand.......Why are the harmless actions of others so bothersome to some who allow it to affect them to such a negative degree?
Why is it so difficult to just allow other beings to simply live their lives as they so choose if they are not bringing physical harm to others or damaging the property of others?
Life would be so much positive and peaceful if it was truly this way for all.
Just my personal belief.

Oh to answer your questions, often times a running partner who is attempting to improve their speed or endurance will hold on to some part of a better runner's body or clothing giving them the added assistance or motivation to run or jog at their running partner's pace or helping them to run beyond their usual level endurance.
So it's called pulling your partner along.
Just my experience of seeing happen during both formation and personal runs with others during my time in the military.

Our cultures are different. PDA should always be in moderation. There is a proper place for everything.
It is a public track filled with athletes ... kids ... elderly. Holding onto each other giggling and jogging is kinda annoying.
They definitely were not training for endurance lol ... the girl was just too clingy.

True, cultures are different, so I'm thinking they are not of your culture?
Eh....I love clingy. LOL!
